Language of film dictionary 

Body Language - Body language is a mix of gestures, postures and expressions. As you speak or listen, you also express feelings and reactions with your body language, including your facial expression, gestures, and stance.

Costume - it is a set of clothing that is styled that can show what your trying to be, or it can express the character you are playing in a role. 

Hairstyles - A hairstyle is the  particular way in which a person's hair is cut or arranged. Hairstyles can really bring out the characters personality.

Make-up - make up is a cosmetic that is used to transform someone. The use of make up can depend on the purpose and intensity of the make-up. Different effects could come about depending on how it is used. Make-up can be used to hide certain flaws, or even to fully transform a person/

Colour - the colour is used to set the scene. Like a dark colour could be used for a sad scene and a light colour used to more uplifting scenes.

Lighting - the lighting can also be used to set moods but also can be used to show the audience where to look by shining light on to certain areas.
